Osman looking for his own Escape to
Victory

Bristol Rovers hire Osman until the end of the Season to try
and help them stay in Division Three.
DIVISION THREE strugglers Bristol Rovers have appointed Russell
Osman and Kevan Broadhurst as joint managers until
the end of the Season.
Rovers, who have been without a manager since January after they
sacked
Ray Grayson, appointed the duo to take control for the final eight
games of the season in an attempt to fight off falling into the
Relegation Zone.
Bristol are currently fourth from bottom in the English Nationwide
Division Three, having gone 10 games without a win. Osman and
Broadhurst's appointment will only be temporary as Rovers have
hired Ian Atkins to take charge of the club next season.
Rovers are just three points from the relegation places after
their
1-0 defeat at Boston United on Saturday. Osman's last job in club
management was six years ago when he managed Cardiff.
"When you see a club struggling you offer your services
and if I thought I'd fail I wouldn't take it on," he told
BBC Radio Bristol.
"I spoke to one of the directors a while ago to remind him
that I am a local coach and I am available if they needed someone
to help out.
"Kevan also knows the leagues well and between us I'm sure
wecan do the job that needs doing."
Im sure all Escape to Victory Fans (except my friend David Noble,
who is a Carlisle Utd fan , a club also in the relegation battle)
will wish him luck in the position.

Sources include BBC Sport, the Scotland on
Sunday website(dont ask) and I nicked the pic from Brisol Rovers
official site, which is one of those abysmal premiumtv sites,
I wish theyd feck off and let proper fans run the sites, cos having
to subscribe just to read about a club Im not even remotely bothered
about really boils my piss, heck I refuse to subsribe to the Newcastle
United one either, and thats a club I do support, purely on the
grounds that true fans shouldnt need to register on a site to
prove they support them.
