The Stadium

Ive always wondered what the MTK stadium (you know, the one Huston used as a setting for 1940's Columbes Paris, Im sure Ive mentioned it before on the site) looks like today, well I did a bit of hunting on the internet and came up with these pictures, and a little bit of info.

The MTK stadium apparently has a capacity of 7,702 (so much for 50,000 -ed, although check the pic below from the movie and you can see they've got it past capacity, and around the sides too)

So it's still there, and still just about looking like it did 20 years ago. MTK are currently top of the league at the moment, and if they keep it up its not completely immpossible that they may make it through to the champions league next season, imagine if they played newcastle in the qualifier, what a match that would be.

Still, if you're ever in Budapest, it may be worth a visit.
